TAM IS:

Trade Association Management Limited is a company specialising in the running of Trade Associations and similar institutions. Its aim is to offer contractual or consultancy services saving such organisations the necessity of employing their own full time staff and renting individual offices.

TAM was incorporated in 1991 but can actually trace its history back to 1854.

The breadth of experience possessed by those who work for TAM is historically wide and includes companies, both with and without share capital, as well as unincorporated associations and other less formally structured bodies.

IT COVERS:

Interests currently represented are connected with a range of trades and commodities in the wholesale, and manufacturing industries.

LOCAL - NATIONAL - INTERNATIONAL:

TAM has considerable expertise in handling intricate details both of a local character and nationally. Naturally, TAM staff are used to dealing with Government Departments and other official bodies at all levels. International aspects are also catered for and there is a body of experience in liasing with United Nations bodies and with EU institutions, of which the latter continue to assume ever greater importance.

PROFESSIONALISM:

Each organisation serviced by TAM is conducted on strictly professional lines on order that clients can be assured of the necessary confidentiality in the handling of their business to ensure that the interests of particular industries or sectors of industry are promoted and safeguarded. The experienced staff are well versed in the niceties of committee work and procedures on which associations, etc., depend.

SERVICES TO CLIENTS:

Some dozen Client Organisations of widely varying size and influence are serviced by the Company's staff who can offer or obtain advice in broad areas outside the narrow scope of the administration of committees - e.g. publicity, publications, VAT, other taxation, industrial relations, health and safety, together with the organisation of seminars, conferences, exhibitions, etc:.
